EasiCoach U7-U8

New to coaching? Not sure what to coach, or even how to coach? Help is at hand, even for all "non-soccer" volunteers
Dave Clarke

EasiCoach Soccer Curriculum provides ready-made, age-appropriate, safe training activities, set out clearly on a single page, and so simple that even a child could understand. This edition covers U7 and U8 Mini Soccer and is ideal for beginner mums and dads.

For each activity there is also a relevant game, so the players learn a simple skill in an activity, and then use that skill in a game, so the learning is put into practice.

Follow all the materials in the curriculum and your players will be learning the right skills for their age group. They will be having more fun, and be on a gradual development pathway that will make them better, more skilful players and continue playing soccer for longer.

The manual includes a Getting Started guide for new coaches, a user guide, and a parental checklist. The activities are divided into Ball Control, Attacking, Defending, Restarts and Goalkeeping.

I find the configuration of EasiCoach manuals are very good, with clear explanation and separation of each section.

The book provides excellent description of the skills and drills. Each one is clearly laid out and is easy to understand and implement.

Have just started doing my FA Level 1 coaching award and have used the book for reference material in planning sessions.

Only been coaching since the start of the year with our U7’s, which we are due to split in to a new U7’s and U8’s for next season.

Love the format of the EasiCoach Manual and so glad I brought it, as football was never my sport and I am just a parent volunteer who just happened to have a son in the team.

Not knowing the first thing about coaching football this book was a godsend.
