Work on your team’s ability to start attacks from the goalkeeper with this practice. By PETE AUGUSTINE MORE
Dribbling activity for under 7s
- Line up four players behind a starting cone. Put a cone gate 2 yards in front and a cone goal 1 yard further on
- When you say “go” the first player in the line takes three touches to take the ball through the gate.
- Once through the gate, players can choose to shoot at the goal or continue their dribble.
- When players have shot or finished their dribbling, they pick the ball up and go to the back of the line to wait for another turn.
Once your players have got to grips with this activity, let them move on to the U7 dribbling game from EasiCoach Soccer Skills Activities.
