Hi,
I coach an U7s football team in the UK. We have one player who has a tendency to kick the ball away as soon as it comes to him, which often leads to the ball being lost. Whilst I can't be sure of the reason, his ability to dribble a football in an unopposed practice makes me think that in a match, he is panicking/worrying about being tackled as the opposition rushes to close him down. I'm looking for strategies to help him overcome this - any suggestions?
