‘Use it or lose it’ is the theme of this activity, teaching players to release the ball after dribbling.
Helps players to understand that, when they are dribbling, they need to release the ball at some point, otherwise they might lose it.
Mark out an area suitable for your players. At each end of the area is an end zone. The game should be played by six or eight players.
Normal rules apply. To win a point, a player must pass the ball to a team-mate who is stood in the end zone they are attacking. The opposition start then with the ball in their end zone. If the ball goes out of play at any time, the game restarts with a player dribbling or passing the ball into play. The player can use this restart to pass the ball straight into a team-mate in the end zone.
