U7 Soccer Drills and Games

For skills development, under 7 players need the appropriate practices to develop their Agility, Balance, Co-ordination and Speed (ABCs). This includes fun soccer games to develop basic skills and team play that will be built upon at older ages – this means working on running with the ball, ball control, and passing and receiving.

At this age it is recommended to play 5v5

These soccer drills for 7-year-olds are sure to help your sessions go more smoothly and give your young players the best chance of developing their skills at an appropriate level.
