We have now entered December - and that means, for many of us, Christmas is fast approaching.
The festive season is always a brilliant time to do things a bit differently and engage and connect with your players in a fun way.
And this issue is dedicated to helping you to do so.
We have got six Christmas-themed sessions you can run in the coming weeks – they are all a bit silly but, at the same time, work on soccer fundamentals.
We have also got a couple of advice pieces – one on how to give your sessions a Christmas twist, and another on coaching in winter weather.
That latter piece, written by Manchester United U11s' girls coach Jolene Murray, and the session that follows it, by Hannah Duncan, are both from our sister title, Women’s Soccer Coaching.
WSC, which is sent out to subscribers on the second Wednesday of each month, provides content for female coaches and coaches working in the women’s and girls’ game.
Among the coaches who have been interviewed in it are Barcelona Women's head coach Jonatan Giraldez, Aston Villa Women's boss Carla Ward and USA U20 Women's head coach Tracey Kevins.
There is so much brilliant content in there each month – check out the website, subscribe and have the PDF hit your inbox.
Returning to our festive theme - we will be sharing more Christmas-related material in the coming weeks, as well as some ideas for reflection as we move into the new year.
